- Kiplinger’s (page 48) recently listed the 10Q_Detective as a “Must Read” Blog in their October 2006 issue. I am humbled to see my web log’s name included in this distinguished list of online financial personalities:
10Q Detective
The Buffett Blog
Consumerism Commentary
Controlled Greed
Cramerwatch.org
Dear Economist
Footnoted.org
Freakonomics
Fund Alarm
The Kirk Report
Mad Money Machine
PFBlogs
Random Roger’s Big Picture

Thoughts From The Front Line
Investors often overlook SEC filings, and it is the job of the 10Q Detective to dig through businesses’ 8-K and 10-Q SEC filings, looking for financial statement ‘soft spots,'(depreciation policies, warranty reserves, and restructuring charges, etc.)that may materially impact Quality of Earnings.

How much did you pay them to put you in there. I know the street.com thanks you are an idiot for shorting FRPT.
Notice how this person cowardly hides behind a cloak of anonymity. And--oh! my Lord! Somebody said something negative about a stock owned by them. And this individual still has not answered my initial question? How come you have nothing negative to say about the PR firm getting paid $72,000 to say niceties about FRPT? Enough said.
Interesting grammar...
Congrats on the Kiplinger mention; one of the few 'true' bloggers actually on the list.
